2. Service Description GoveeLightInstallers.com facilitates the scheduling and purchase of installation services provided by independent contractors (the “Installers”). GoveeLightInstallers.com does not perform installations directly, acts solely as a platform for connecting customers with Installers, and is not liable for the quality or safety of installations performed by the Installers.
3. Scheduling and Payment
- Customers may schedule an installation service via the online platform at GoveeLightInstallers.com.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe at the time of booking.
- GoveeLightInstallers.com takes a limited commission % on all bookings, with the majority of all payment forwarded to the assigned Installer.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Full refunds are available if the cancellation is made 3 days or more prior to the scheduled installation date. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of the cancellation request.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled installation date will incur a 10% late cancellation fee (90% refund).
- If an Installer fails to complete the installation, GoveeLightInstallers.com will either assign a new Installer or issue a full refund.
5. Warranty
- GoveeLightInstallers.com offers an optional 3-year warranty on the craftsmanship of your installation, available for purchase at the time of booking. In the event of a dispute regarding craftsmanship, GoveeLightInstallers.com may mediate the issue and, if necessary, involve a third-party verification process to determine the validity of the claim.
- Warranty claims are mediated by GoveeLightInstallers.com, which will assign the original Installer, or a new insured, contracted Installer to resolve the issue.
- Additional warranties offered by the contracted Installer are at the sole discretion of the Installer and customer.
6. Liability Disclaimer
GoveeLightInstallers.com operates solely as a lead generation and referral platform, connecting customers with independent third-party installers. GoveeLightInstallers.com is not a contractor, service provider, or employer of any installer listed or referred through the platform.
By using this platform, customers acknowledge and agree that all installation services are performed independently by third-party installers, who are not agents, employees, or representatives of GoveeLightInstallers.com. As such, GoveeLightInstallers.com assumes no responsibility or liability for:
- Any acts, omissions, errors, or negligence on the part of the Installer;
- Any damage to property, personal injury, or other loss arising out of or related to the installation services;
- Any disputes, service issues, warranties, or guarantees relating to workmanship or materials used.
All liability for installation services, including damages, defects, delays, or other claims, shall rest solely with the Installer. Customers are encouraged to perform due diligence and directly engage with the Installer regarding terms, insurance, warranties, and scope of work.
7. Customer Obligations
- Customers must provide accurate address and contact details during booking.
- Customers must ensure that the installation site is safe and accessible for the Installer.
8. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute between the customer and the Installer, GoveeLightInstallers.com will mediate only if a warranty has been purchased.
- For issues outside the warranty, disputes must be resolved directly between the customer and the Installer.
9. Content Use
- By using the Service, you agree that GoveeLightInstallers.com may use customer reviews, submitted photos, and feedback for marketing purposes.
10. Changes to Terms GoveeLightInstallers.com reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website.
